- Lighter player on iPhone and iPad. Apple devices — about half of all shoppers — no longer download a streaming engine they don't use, making the player's main code less than half its previous size on those devices.
- Adaptive quality for older videos. Videos imported a long time ago now stream at the right quality for the shopper's connection on Android and desktop, instead of loading the full-size file.
- No blurry first frame. Videos no longer flash a zoomed-in, blurry frame when they start; the thumbnail stays up until the video is ready to show at the correct size.
